FOX VALLEY ROCKETEERS HOLIDAY PARTY

Come celebrate our highly fun and successful rocketry year at our Annual Holiday Party!

Friday, December 30, 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Bob and Judy Kaplow Residence

Please let Bob know who’s coming via email ( bobkaplow – at – yahoo dot com).

Also, let Bob know what you’ll be bringing along to share in terms of food or drink.

Feel free to bring along memorabilia, pictures or videos to share!

In case of bad weather, we’ll postpone to 1/6. We don’t need people on the road in a blizzard.

COVID NOTICE: Since we’re eating, masking for this event isn’t very practical. If you OR ANYONE IN YOUR HOUSE is not feeling well, please stay home.

Hope to see you there!

Fox Valley Rocketeers 2022 Flying Season Finale

The Fox Valley Rocketeers closed out our 2022 flying season with 53 flights at the Hughes Farm.  Mike Moran led all flyers with 11, followed closely by Jeff Kajtsa with 10.

For the season, Mike again led all flyers with 62 flights, followed by Pete Kazawski with 50 and John Ager with 47.

Congrats are also due for Julian Wisniewski and John Agar for successful NAR Level 1 HPR certification flights.

Finally, thanks to Ed Chess, Bob Zurek, Kurt Gunther, Bob Kaplow and Phil Nubel for range support.

We look forward to more fun rocket flying in 2023!  On to the winter building season!

Sunday, November 13 Launch Is GO!

Sunday’s launch is on. We’ll be flying from 12:00 noon to 4:30 PM.

Current forecast reads “Sunshine and some clouds. High 37F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.”

Our waiver will be activated, so those wanting to fly HPR models can do so.

Please enter and exit the field off Dimmel Road, and park on the grassy area next to the gravel road.

Hope to see you there at our last launch of 2022!

Sunday, October 9 Launch Postponed

I don’t have any confirmation that the harvest is complete at the Hughes Farm, so we’re going to have to postpone the weekend’s launch.

Once I have confirmation that harvest is done, we’ll reschedule the launch.

Apologies for any inconvenience.
