The American Rocketry Challenge (TARC)

  • The American Rocketry Challenge (TARC) is an annual model rocketry competition for students in grades seven to 12 sponsored by the Aerospace Industries Association and the National Association of Rocketry.
  • The challenge involved one or more eggs as the rocket’s payload, a target altitude around 800 feet and a target flight time around 45 seconds.
  • We provide both mentors and launch support for TARC teams.
  • Full details about TARC can be found at www.rocketcontest.org.
