If you lose a rocket or find a rocket or anything else at a launch, send me
an email and I'll add it to the page. I'll need the date lost, description,
location, name, phone and email address.
Unfortunately, the first launch at Raintree Park resulted in the first lost
rockets. Here is a description provided by Ed:
As you may have heard, there were three lost rockets on July 9. One was
mine (Ed Chess), a Polar-1, a Baby Bertha kit bash, that is designed to look
like Santa on a rocket sleigh (red body, green fins with silver sleigh
runners, white nosecone, Santa image on one fin, gold lettering on side).
It landed in a large tree on the North side of Raintree Park. Jeff also
lost one to a neighboring tree, and Scott Lewis, a newcomer, lost one to
the tall grass on the south side of the park. Don't have descriptions of
their rockets.
